Every year from 2006 until 2012 (with the exception of 2010) there was an Easter Egg Hunt on [[Club Penguin Island]], which usually took place on the same weekend that Easter did. There were 8 eggs that you had to find, except for 2006 which only had 7 eggs. The prizes for every year except 2011 were a pair of colored bunny ears. The same bunny ears were never given two years in a row.
Every year, except 2010, [[Club Penguin]] has a new '''Easter Egg Hunt''' usually during the weekend that Easter actually takes place. A new, usually famous, [[penguin]] hides them. There are eight eggs in each hunt, which a player needs to find in rooms all over the island and they are usually blended in with their surroundings so you have to keep an open eye out. When a player collects all the eggs, they can claim [[Bunny Ears]], each year in another [[colour]].
