  • QwebIRC was annoying to set up. We're using lightIRC for now and possibly iris later.

Network Opers

  • Staffers will be given full access to almost everything except server linking/shutdown.
  • Helpers (non-staff admins and trusted users) will be given access to most things, possibly even K-Lines

Channel Rights We're Using

There are on official channels

  • Founder (~)
  • Admin/Super-Op (&) - staff?
  • Op (@) = admins
  • Half-Op (%) - IRC helpers (create as needed)
  • Voice (+)
  • Half-Voice, Not needed.

Policies

For official CPWN channels, same as it always was.

Network-wide policies: dunno

Website

Probably just a simple shell on Project:IRC. Maybe extend information later, possibly on irc.* subdomain.

Channels

  • #penguinnet - server help/possibly generic social/etc
  • #clubpenguinwiki - CPW
  • #fanon - Fanon
  • #shops - Shops
  • #bunker - "anything goes" channel without many rules
