The Party Hat (also known as the Beta Hat) is a free item first available during Beta Testing. Similar items are the other Party Hats.
History
The Party Hat is the rarest item on Club Penguin. It is the first party hat and the first free item in Club Penguin. Also, it is the first clothing item that wouldn't be taken away after the beta testing. Its rarity and high status is the reason the Party Hat is often the most hacked item in the game.
Screenhog made the Beta Hat. He chose what he thought were tacky party colors and put them on a classic cone hat. Ironically, it became one of the most iconic items in Club Penguin.[1]
