The Pumpkin Background (formerly Jack O’ Lanterns Background) was a background in Club Penguin that was available during the Halloween Party 2009. It could be obtained by completing the Candy Hunt. It was available in the Penguin Style catalog in later years.
History
A draft of the Pumpkin Background was first seen in a You Decide! poll from September 2009, asking players which background they wanted in the October 2009 Penguin Style catalog.[1] It was labelled as the "Pumpkin Patch" background, which already existed, and was missing the yellow puffle in the bottom right corner. Though it lost to the Ghostly Grin Background in the poll, it was later released as the Jack O' Lanterns Background as a prize for completing the Halloween Candy Hunt 2009. Its name was changed some time later, and it was re-released in the October 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2016 Penguin Style catalogs.
