The Sport Shop (or Winter Sports) is a store in the Ski Village owned by Gary the Gadget Guy and an orange penguin (in Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force). It used to be almost identical to the Gift Shop. It contains three dressing rooms and a desk. As of August 31, 2007, however, the Sport Shop was remodeled into a store that really had a sport catalog, called Snow and Sports.

Tour Description
Welcome to the Sports Shop. Here, you can buy all sorts of sports equipment.

The Sports Shop (or Winter Sports) was a store in the Ski Village owned by Gary the Gadget Guy and an orange penguin as an assistant (as shown in Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force). It was the home of the HQ, and the PSA. There were stairs that led to Gary's Room (only accessed during PSA Missions).

At one point, this room held the Penguin Style catalog, and later held the Snow and Sports catalog. However, due to the May 2010 Popcorn Explosion, the room was closed, and later replaced by the Everyday Phoning Facility.

History

This room was originally released to the public on November 3rd, 2005. At that time it had the Penguin Style catalog in it, just like the Gift Shop. In March 2006, the secret passage to the HQ was added. In August 2007 it was remodeled, taking away the Penguin Style, and adding the Snow and Sports. In May 2010, Herbert P. Bear put his plan into action. His Popcorn Time Bomb blew up the HQ, and since it was attached to the Sport Shop, the Sport Shop blew up too, causing the Popcorn Explosion. Damaged heavily by the popcorn, which still covered the shop and the Ski Village, the Sport Shop was officially closed on May 27th, 2010. The Stadium also had a makeover that day, just so the catalog could be moved there. The Everyday Phoning Facility replaced the Sport Shop in June 2010, as a secret base of operations for the Elite Penguin Force.

Classified Information

Secretly, the Sport Shop was the PSA's base of operations. When viewed in certain PSA missions, you could actually see Gary's blueprints (all missions), his room (Avalanche Rescue), and a penguin wearing underwear (Avalanche Rescue). The dressing room closest to the door could be used to gain access to the Spy Headquarters (agents only).

Before the HQ was redecorated, the whole room was used for the Secret Missions.

Trivia

 • Strangely, on the Australian Disney Club Penguin page says Gary owns the Sport Shop. This should not be there as the Sport Shop was destroyed three years before it was written. This may mean it could be returning. [2]
 • Also, the Sports Shop SWF on Club Penguin's Media1 server has got no popcorn after the party. [3]
 • The Sports Shop looked almost identical to the Gift Shop.
