- Gary on the background was flipped over since Penguin Play Awards 2009 because pins would cover Gary's face.
- The parties where you could get Gary's background were at the Halloween Party 2008, Halloween Party 2009, Penguin Play Awards 2009, and Festival of Flight 2009.
- Some people get this, and other famous penguin's background with Penguin Storm, but that will get your penguin banned.
- His autograph changed after the flip of the background. Now is a simple signature while on the first background was a little complicated.
