The Old News is a drawer with the last six editions of The Penguin Times newspaper. It can be used to learn about Club Penguin, its recent history, and recent events. The drawer is located in the Boiler Room. There is a glitch where if the user clicks a newspaper and drags the mouse away from it, the newspaper will stay hovering in the air. Not many Penguins read this, let alone go in the Boiler Room. Old Newspapers do not support features available when the paper was originally in print, for example, players could not make a "Restore the Lighthouse" donation of 750 coins to get a special shirt by using the Old News.
