An orange octopus.
An orange octopus.

The Orange Octopus is an enemy in the Black Puffle level of the game, Puffle Rescue. They move in either side-to-side patterns or box patterns, and send out an electric charge when the player gets close to them. Getting too close will cause the player to lose a life. However, if the player is touching the border, they will not lose a life.

Prehistoric Orange Octopus

The Prehistoric Orange Octopus is a prehistoric version of the Orange Octopus. It was first seen hidden in the Viking Long-ship room at the Mountain Expedition. It is a larger version of the normal Club Penguin Octopus, and it also has tusks.

The Prehistoric Orange Octopus

Appearance

It has three, pale, peach-coloured spots on its mantle. The first two tentacles are somewhat shorter then the rest. It also appears to be missing its breathing tube, or sipion.

Trivia

  • It is the only other non-existent animal in Club Penguin besides puffles, although it has a very similar real-life counterpart, a Squid and an Octopus.
  • It's electricity might come from friction. Rubbing too much may cause electricity. However, if this is done in water, it may cool off.
  • The squid on the Squid Lid looks similar to this creature. However this creature is much bigger.
