The Tour Guide Hat is available in the Ski Village. Once a penguin is 45 days old, they can take a test to become a Tour Guide. Once they pass the test, they will receive the Tour Guide Hat, be able to send "Welcome!" postcards and give tours.
Trivia
- There was once a glitch in which you went into another player's igloo and tried to give a tour, it would say "undefined." This glitch has now been fixed, and now you are no longer allowed to give a tour in another penguin's igloo.
- Many penguins only want to be a tour guide for the hat. This was also shown in a comic.
- There was another glitch in which you could wear the Tour Guide hat in your inventory, but not on your Penguin. this allowed players to hold the sign without the hat on. This was fixed after CPIP.
- It was not available during the Puffle Party 2010 because the Tour Booth was removed making some penguins angry. This was soon fixed.
