The Beta Testing Party was the first ever party in Club Penguin that happened on October 24th 2005 for only a few hours. It offered Beta Testers penguins a Party Hat. Beta Testers also got 2000 Coins and a free 1 month membership when it ended.
History
The Beta Testing Party was started on October 24th 2005 when Club Penguin officially started. The Town was decorated with a simple banner saying, "BETA TEST PARTY!". There were two boxes with Party Hats inside. Beta Testers could get the hat, which was the first ever item in post-beta Club Penguin. Moderators like Billybob and rsnail were Beta Testers and made appearances during the Party. Beta Testers also got a free 1 month membership that was paid for by the Club Penguin Team, and they also got 2000 coins as well, which was considered a lot at the time.
Trivia
- This has been the only party so far with two free item boxes that hold the same item in the same room.
- This is also the only party to have a free item in the Town.
