Box Store

The Box Store was a temporary party room during the April Fools Day 2009 party that was located in the Snow Forts, to the right of the Ice Rink. It was a member-only room and had a special catalog. During the April Fools Day 2009 party, snowballs were replaced by into paint balloons, and in the Box Store, if they thrown onto a blank space in the front of the room, the paint splatters from the balloons painted a scene picture onto it. This room is just a shop and is made of boxes. If you go to the left, there is a box that resembles a check-out counter at a store, and when a penguin walks to it, the Box Store Catalog will appear, or the catalog could be accessed by clicking on the catalog icon on the lower right hand corner.

This room had a Box catalog in which members were able to buy boxes as furniture items.

• The items were:
  • Small box - 75 coins
  • Medium box - 100 coins
  • Large box - 120 coins
  • Portal box - 200 coins

Tour Guide

When giving a tour, the guide will say:

Here we have the Box Store, for all your box needs. Here you can buy your own boxes and box accessories... ...try throwing balloons at the paper to paint a picture.

Trivia

• Purchasing a Portal Box from here was the only way to get into the Box Dimension unless if you entered another Member peguin's igloo that had a Portal Box in it. However they returned as a secret item in the January 2010 [Better Igloos] catalog.
• You could have only painted two pictures. A penguin and a puffle in Forest and a penguin sipping coffee at the Coffee Shop.
• It may be possible that The Box Store might come back at the 2010 April Fools Party.
• The area where the store is was also where the Puffle Feeding area was during the Puffle Party 2009 and 2010.
