A Crab (Clubpenguinus crabus) is one of the creatures that inhabit Club Penguin Island, and are quite common. They can be seen in the Underground Pool, the games Ice Fishing and Aqua Grabber, along with the Secret Missions 5-11. The most notable of these is Klutzy. The crabs in the game Ice Fishing crawl upside down on the ice, while in the water. They try to steal your fishing bait (a worm) by cutting your fishing line. Crabs also appear as bosses in Puffle Launch.

Known crabs

Pool Crab

The infamous Pool Crab.

There is a crab that could be seen in the Cave through the windows that appear once in a while. This crab broke the glass in the underground pool, causing the flood and the Water Party in 2007.

Aqua Grabber Crab

In Aqua Grabber's level Soda Seas, there is a secret worm that can be obtained. It can be used to capture Fluffy the Fish and then Fluffy the Fish can be taken to catch a Mullet. The Mullet is released and there is a path where the mullet was. You can go through it and down to find a crab and a large pile of coins that can be picked up. The crab will also try to take the treasure. If you let the crab get all the treasure, he will give you a rare prize.

Klutzy

Klutzy is the more known crab in the Club Penguin Island.

Ice Fishing crabs

Starting on the fourth stage of Ice Fishing, crabs crawl on the underside of the ice, towards the fishing line and try to cut the line off, so that you lose your bait.

Puffle Launch crab

This crab appears 6 times in the game Puffle Launch as a boss trying to hinder your puffle as it navigates through the level. He is called Klepto. Klutzy also uses the same flying Aqua Grabber to hit you in the Jet Pack Boost Club Penguin App game.

Blue Crab

These crabs first appeared at the Island Adventure Party 2011 at the Cove. At the same time you could also obtain a Blue Crab costume.

Island Adventure Party Crabs

Various Crabs appeared in every decorated room during the Island Adventure Party 2011, mainly in the Iceberg. It is yet unknown if these crabs have a role or are just part of the room decoration.

Old Crab

The Shadow on the Login Screen.

It was seen on a video from Happy77's YouTube channel. Not much is known about him yet. He has also appeared as a shadow on the Login Screen. He apparently is a villain and is friends with both Herbert and Klutzy.

Herbert's Crab Army

The Crab Army was first detected by the EPF in the 18th Field-Op in 2010. They were trained for 2 years, until finally attack during the Operation: Blackout helping Herbert capture secret agents. They were the ones who captured Jet Pack Guy. They may be headed by Klutzy or the Old Crab.

Trivia

• Crabs seem to be mean and evil as they're always causing problems, but they can be nice with you if you let them take all the treasure as seen with the Aqua Grabber crab.
• They don't like puffles as seen in the Puffle Launch game.
• Klutzy is different from the other crabs. His paws are smaller and he seems to be smaller too.
• Interestingly enough, Herbert's Crab Army looks exactly like Klutzy.
