Every year, except 2010, Club Penguin has a new Easter Egg Hunt usually during the weekend that Easter actually takes place. A new, usually famous, penguin hides them. There are eight eggs in each hunt, which a player needs to find in rooms all over the island and they are usually blended in with their surroundings so you have to keep an open eye out. When a player collects all the eggs, they can claim Bunny Ears, each year in another colour.

Trivia

• The eggs are mostly disguised as an object, or painted to look like a room in Club Penguin.
• The 2008 egg hunt had a ninja egg, which raised some speculation about ninjas.
• Usually, like pins, an activity is to be done to get them from the place they are hidden.
• If you log off while you have your eggs you found, you will lose your progress.
• Many Mwa Mwa Penguins wear the Bunny Ears to finish their "cute" baby outfit.
• After the Easter Egg Hunt 2009, it was still possible to turn off the Beacon Light.
• Some eggs rumour what is going to happen in the future.

In 2008, the eggs were in the (Ordered as on the photo): Mine, Dock, Pet Shop, Book Room, Gift Shop, Plaza, Lodge Attic and Dojo.

1st. At the Town in the right spotlight. 2nd. Go to the Cove and click on the egg on the right side in the sea. 3rd. At the Mine. Hover over where you can go cart surfing. it is on the cart that pops-up. 4th. At the Dojo. At the right lantern. 5th. At the Gift Shop. Click the warm fuzzy pet-bed-looking hat. 6th. At the Ski Lodge. Check the fish in the box next to Ice Fishing. 7th. At the Mountain. Click the top of the pole. 8th. At the Beacon. Turn off the light. It is the bulb.

Prize

A pair of Bunny Ears is given each year (except 2010) to penguins who find all eggs in the time given. They are always available to all players.
