Filters

Filters are measures to keep people safe in Club Penguin. As is expected, swear words can not get through, however, some normal words are filtered (as players may use them in the wrong way). Sometimes, a ban will appear after entering these types of words.

Originally, there were no filters, leaving people to just have to report you if another said something rude or inappropriate. Filters were later added during an update. Famous Penguins controlled by the Club Penguin Team can bypass the filters, as well as use numerals.
