Filters are measures to keep people safe in Club Penguin. Obviously, swear words won't get through, but some can get through if you use them in a sentence. Most of the time, a ban comes up instantly when typing inappropriate or swear words.
Trivia
- There once was an incident where you got banned from saying "Ice Cream" due to hacking by WPE Pro.
- The filters used to be where you could swear until someone reported you but after an update it bans instantly.
- There are other filters that blocks some normal words (for example, "Love") because some penguins may use them in wrong way. (NOTE: You will not get banned for saying love.)
