Flare is a black Elite Puffle from the Nintendo DS video game Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force. He shoots blue flames from his mouth while he wears his welding mask. He can weld anything with this. His ability is used in the Elite Missions. He also appeared in the exclusive book Puffle Pal Adventures: Music Makes Magic. Flare is used in many missions and special missions. In All's Weld That Ends Weld, Flare is really upset and you send him a postcard. It is unknown how Flare learned how to weld. In the online Club Penguin some penguins get jealous if someone has Flare, although a lot of people bought Herbert's Revenge.

Trivia

• He is friends with the Coffee Shop Barista.
• In the online Club Penguin, as of May 27, you can summon him using a special Puffle Whistle in your EPF Spy Phone. You need to be a member, and have a code from the Nintendo DS game, Herbert's Revenge to do this. When you summon him, you walk him just like any other puffle.
• It is unknown why he is the only Elite Puffle you can walk.
  • Since Flare is the only Elite puffle you can walk, he seems to be the most famous Elite Puffle.
    • He could be the only available Elite Puffle because black puffles are forgot sometimes.
• In a Card-Jitsu card, there was a mix-up and it said his name was Blast.
• If you walk Flare, log off, and log back on, unlike other puffles, you will still be walking him.
• If you walk Flare and play My Puffle, the puffle in the book will be blue, not black.
• It is revealed in The Great Puffle Switch that Flare talks like a pro skateboarder, saying "dude" all the time.
