The Marvel Super Hero Takeover is a party on Club Penguin. It was confirmed on the UK Disney site. ^[1] It started on June 14, 2012 and will end on June 27, 2012. Screenhog is composing at least two songs for this party. ^[2] It is the first time that Club Penguin is making a partnership with Marvel, and the first time that a party is commercial. (However, Marvel is another Disney brand since late 2009^[3]). It may be related to the film The Avengers. There will be a party room called Downtown Showdown. It will involve the Marvel characters on the logo, that are from left to right, Iron Fist, Spider Man, Black Widow, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk and Nova, but also Ms. Marvel, Nick Fury, Hawkeye, Loki, The Lizard and Venom.^[4]

The island will turn into a real-world city for the party.
All the players will be able to enter all rooms except a roof, where members will be able to battle against an evil robot.
There will be a Prison Room with a free Villain Background.
In the Press Conference Area, there will be free "superhero-style" pick-ups.
In the Pizza Parlor, the players will be able to win prizes by working together with other players.
The robot seen in Downtown Showdown will be called The Destructobot.
The Super-Villains will have a black circle around them.
The Super-Heroes will have a yellow circle around them.
The Citizens will have a green circle around them.
Though non-members cannot buy the superhero (and super villain) costumes, they can still buy the items from the "Items for Everyone" stall in the Gift Shop.
