Game Cards are gift cards that can be bought for membership in real life. This is one of the easiest ways to become a member. These cards are a uncommon method of attaining membership. They are primarily given as gifts, such as for national holidays and birthdays.
How It Works
By late December 2007, the cards will be sold in Target stores nationwide (United States), and in even more branches in the following months. To be a member using these cards, you will still have to pay the same membership fee.
There are three different cards: one each for paying for membership monthly, every half-year, and yearly. Buyers also have to register the card at the counter. Once they have a card, you have to enter a given code, like the standard way of paying for membership. Upon entering the code online they will be a member instantly.
Trivia
- It is rumored that a future Game card pin will be released.
