Portal Box is a room furniture item in Club Penguin. It was first released during April Fool's Day 2009. This item could be purchased by members for 200 coins in the Box Store, found in the Snow Forts during that party. What makes this item special is that when you step on the Portal Box, it will teleport you to the Box Dimension, hence the name "Portal Box".

Penguins could first buy this item when it was released during April Fool's Day 2009 in the Box Store. It was re-released in January 2010 and March 2011 as a secret item in the Better Igloos Catalog.

It appears in Puffle Launch on the Box Dimension level. It also makes an appearance in Soda Sunset after you defeat the final crab in that world.

When they appeared in the January-February 2010 Better Igloos as a secret item, there was a glitch saying that it was unavailable on January 15, 2010.
Some penguins got banned for cheating when it was in the Jan-Feb catalog when it was glitched.
There was a Glitch when you cannot go into the same box portal twice while you're on. This Glitch was fixed.
