• It made an appearance on a pink penguin in the login screen advertising The Fair 2009. [maybe comeback in Fall Fair 2011]
• It appears in the "Long Time No See" postcard.

Trivia

• It was originally a rumored Fall Fair item, because you could only see it by using a cheating program before the item updates during The Fair 2009.
• It might be based on the hat that The Cat in the Hat wears, but in purple and black instead of red and white.
• At The Fair 2010, a new Stripey Hat was released.
