Turtles are a type of pet formerly available at the Pet Shop. They seem to like tropical temperatures, judged by the terrarium that they live in. However there are no species of Turtle living anywhere near Antarctica, so it's unknown how penguins get them.
Trivia
- Turtles could have been brought to Club Penguin by Rockhopper from Rockhopper Island.
- Sea turtle pirates are in a real book called "Club Penguin: Stowaway! Adventures at Sea".
- Due to their enclosure, turtles could easily escape given a motive since the terrarium they live in doesn't have a roof and hosts very short sides.
- The turtle is one of the items you needed to find in the Adventure Hunt of the Adventure Party 2009.
