As a temporary solution to not having polls (We tried installing wikia's, but it failed to work), we installed a poll extension which embeds PollDaddy Polls. Simply create a PollDaddy account, create a poll, then to embed on a wiki page:
<polldaddy pollid="12345"/>
12345 Is just an example of a poll id, replace it with the ID of your's.
This is what it will look like, for example, this is one I made:
