Quick rundown of PenguinNet setup & planning.

IRC Daemon

Services Package

Web Client (webchat)

  • Probably QWebIRC, same as Freenode
    • hipsters use iris
  • Possibly CGI:IRC, but probably not.

Network Opers

  • Staffers will be given full access to everything.
  • Helpers (non-staff admins and trusted users) will be given access to most things, possibly even K-Lines

Channel Rights We're Using

There are on official channels

  • Founder (~)
  • Admin/Super-Op (&) - staff?
  • Op (@) = admins
  • Half-Op (%) - IRC helpers (create as needed)
  • Voice (+)
  • Half-Voice, Probably useless.

Policies
