Hello BASEPAGENAME, and welcome to the Club Penguin Wiki, the free online encyclopedia all about Club Penguin! We hope you enjoy your stay here.

To get you started on the wiki, here are some basic things we'd thought you'd like to know:
*If you haven't already, be sure to read our policy. It's very important to know what our guidelines and rules are, so that you don't end up blocked (banned)!
*To edit an article, simply click the 'edit' button at the top of the page. Editing is the act of changing a page. Your knowledge is the main reason why we are a large website. Articles are our most important pages that are informative and have information on different things on Club Penguin.
*Every user has their own user page. Feel free to create your userpage here and fill it out with information about yourself, your penguin, or any other info you'd like to share with us.
*If you have an idea on changing a article in a big way, be sure to use it's 'discussion' page first. You could also use our forum.
*Administrators have extra tools to maintain the wiki. If you have questions or concerns, never hesitate to ask them, as they are the most trustworthy users. They have special abilities such as blocking users, deleting pages, reverting edits, and a few others. Administrators' names will normally show in green. A list of Administrators can be found here. If an admin asks you to stop doing something, it is best to respect their request and do as you are told. Sometimes not listening to them in cases where you are breaking our policy may result in a block.
*If you make a mistake while editing, do not stress! Simply contact an administrator for help on fixing it. However, if you intentionally mess up a page, you will be blocked from editing, per our policy, and your changes will be reverted (undone) using our rollback tool.
*There is much more to the wiki than just editing articles! You can write a party review, submit a logo for the wiki, or even start a little chat in the forum! If you have any questions, an administrator will always be glad to help you.

There are many more advanced things that you will learn as you go on. However, it is imperative that you check out our Manual of Style.

You can also modify some of your account settings such as a custom signature at your preferences. If you want to learn how to make a cool signature, ask an experienced user and they will be glad to help you out!

Thanks! And, once again, welcome to the Club Penguin Wiki! We are looking forward to working with you!</div>

Welcome to Club Penguin Wiki, Welc!

Hi there! Welcome to the Club Penguin Wiki, the free online encyclopedia all about Club Penguin! We hope you enjoy your stay here.

To get you started on the wiki, here are some basic things we'd thought you'd like to know:

 • Edit - To edit an article, simply click the 'edit' button at the top of the page. Editing is the act of changing a page. Your knowledge is the main reason why we are a large website. Articles are our most important pages that are informative and have information on different things on Club Penguin.
 • User page - All users have their very own user page, or "profile". Your user page is your very own page, where you can describe yourself. Feel free to fill out your user page with information about yourself, and anything else you would like to say.
 • User talk - Every user in this wiki has a talk page, which enables you to communicate with other users, even if they're not online. They can send messages to you, while you can too through the talk page. You can add your signature by typing 4 tildes (~~~~). You can also click the button on the edit bar to do the same thing.
 • IRC (Chat) - The wiki has an IRC Channel, which can used to chat with other users in the wiki. You can meet your friends there, make new friends and ask for help if needed. The admins are usually active in IRC, it can be an easy way to get help from them. Click here to join our IRC chat.
 • The Berg - The Berg is the Club Penguin Wiki's official newspaper. Check it monthly for as there may be an event you might want to take part in or the site admins may have important information for you.
 • Others - There is much more to the wiki than just editing articles! You can write a party review, host your own party or even upload a funny picture! See the full list of things you can do here!

You can also modify some of your account settings such as your signature in your preferences. If you want to learn how to make a cool signature, click here!

Please, do take the time to read the wiki's policies and manual of style to avoid any future problems and blocks.

If you have any questions, an administrator will always be glad to help you. Thanks, and have a great time! -- Club Penguin Wiki Administration
