| To get you started on the wiki, here are some basic things we'd thought you'd like to know:

| *If you haven't already, be sure to read our [[Project:Policy|policy]]. It's very important to know what our guidelines and rules are, so that you don't end up blocked (banned)!

| *To edit an article, simply click the 'edit' button at the top of the page. Editing is the act of changing a page. Your knowledge is the main reason why we are a large website. Articles are our most important pages that are informative and have information on different things on ''Club Penguin''.

| *Every user has their own user page. Feel free to create your userpage [[Special:Mypage|here]] and fill it out with information about yourself, your penguin, or any other info you'd like to share with us.

| *If you have an idea on changing a article in a big way, be sure to use it's 'discussion' page first. You could also use our [[Special:AWCforum|forum]].

| *[[Project:Administrators|Administrators]] have extra tools to maintain the wiki. If you have questions or concerns, never hesitate to ask them, as they are the most trustworthy users. They have special abilities such as blocking users, deleting pages, reverting edits, and a few others. Administrators' names will normally show in green. A list of Administrators can be found [[Project:Administrators|here]]. If an admin asks you to stop doing something, it is best to respect their request and do as you are told. Sometimes not listening to them in cases where you are breaking our policy may result in a block.

| *If you make a mistake while editing, do not stress! Simply contact an administrator for help on fixing it. However, if you intentionally mess up a page, you will be blocked from editing, per our [[Project:Policy|policy]], and your changes will be reverted (undone) using our rollback tool.
