The Cave Expedition is an activity that will began on January 22 and end (possibly) on January 28. It was confirmed on the What's New Blog and the Club Penguin Times Issue #223. It is said that they need help to secure the cave for safety, so this is the whole point to the activity.

- It all started from a simple rockslide to a hole in the wall.
- Some penguins think it will be a new room for the future.
- Some penguins think it will be a new Aqua Grabber level.
- Proof: A dented Aqua Grabber Sub can be seen in the Hidden Lake.
- It is identified as an underground cavern because of the rocky spikes and a waterfall hidden at the back of the preview provided on the What's New Blog.
- The waterfall might be where Card Jitsu Water will take place.
- It might be related to Mission 11.
- In many rumors, you might be able to meet Rory, although you couldn't meet him during the Great Snow Maze.
