The Mountain Expedition is an upcoming event in Club Penguin. It will begin on August 13, 2010. Not much is known about it. It was confirmed in the 250th issue of the Club Penguin Times.

It has also been confirmed, from a comment on the What's New Blog, that it is not going to be hosted on the Tallest Mountain. It also is said that it has lots of surprises for members.

Trivia

• There might be stamps for the party.
• It most likely will begin on August 12, since most recent events had begun a day early.
• Due to many theories of Card-Jitsu Water or Snow coming up possibly at one of the snowy mountains, the expedition may as well lead to a new Card-Jitsu game.
• Billybob said it's going to be a new challenge.
• There may be a Hot Air Balloon like the Festival of Flight.
• It could end on August 22nd, since most of recent events have been for 9 days or, It can end the 23rd or 24th. But nothing is really known about that
• There's a chance it might be member's only due to the Membership Page including the the Mountain Expedition in the list of things for members.
• Gear for it has been released.
• On August 5th the only room with preparations is the Ski Village meaning that it might

be the main room or just the only room.
