Penguin Mail

Penguin Mail was introduced on Thursday, May 29th 2008. Instead of postcards being only one time use, it allows you to manage postcards as mail and even send reply or send mail to penguins on your friends list who aren't online.

The first postcard all players got was an introduction to Penguin Mail which also gave away a free blue mailbag.

Players can delete messages via the trash button, to lower their usage of the allowed inbox. Also, players can directly reply to the sender of the postcard, and the reciever can inherit the postcard even if they are offline.

Players may occasionally get automated postcards for events such as adopting Puffles or joining Club Penguin. A postcard was also given to Members during the Music Jam 08 telling them to look for the Penguin Band. A similar postcard was sent during the Penguin Play Awards telling penguins to look out for The Band and Cadence at the Stage.

Trivia

  • If someone purchased a membership, they will get a postcard to enjoy their membership.
  • If you forget to feed your puffle, you get a postcard telling you that >insert puffle name here< is hungry. It is automatically sent. How puffles call up the automatic post card sender is unknown. You also get one if your puffle runs away.
  • You can send a mail to sys (system) by clicking "Reply to buddy" before it hides above the screen. However, their mailbox is always full.
  • If someone only has 7 days of membership left, a postcard will be sent including a link to buy more via credit card.
