Penguin

Penguins (specifically, Emperor Penguins, species Aptenodytes forsteri[citation needed]) are the main concept of Club Penguin. Along with Puffles, they conform the 2 main species of the multiplayer game. New penguins are "produced"/"made"/"born"/"created" whenever a player creates a new account. Penguins are technically more developed than Puffles, since they live in large towns, have owned many architectural structures throughout the land, and seem to be the dominant species over the frosty location.
Penguins are divided into 2 main groups: members and non-members. Members are penguins whom had pay money in reality in order to gain membership and, henceforth, acquire or unlock several new features in their game-play; whilst non-members, which conform the vast majority (2/3) of the game[citation needed], have access to only the basic or common features.
Penguins can come in many colors and have got varied clothing, especially when it comes to Members. This also applies to their igloos, since members have access to varied architectural types of homes and furniture.
Appearance
Visually, the penguins in the game are different from real penguins. In the game, penguins have a triangle shaped head, with two relatively small eyes. They have big beaks (as opposed to a normal penguin's narrow beak) and do not have eyebrows, except for Cadence, Rockhopper, G and Sensei. The only penguins with eyebrows are penguins who bought the "Big Brow" from the play "The Penguins that Time Forgot" or by buying the Scrooge outfit in the December 2009 Penguin Style. Though, Penguins in real life are only Black and White, but Penguins in-game come in various colours. Also, they have webbed feet, but no toes.
In the game, there is virtually no sexual dimorphism for the penguins; you don't even get to choose a gender for your avatar. In order to show any difference members can buy clothes and items, using their coins.
