The Base Camp was a temporary room in Club Penguin. It was opened on August 12, 2010 and was closed on August 18. Only members are able to access this room, as with most of the party rooms during the Mountain Expedition. It back on August 25, 2011 for The Great Snow Race but now everyone can access it.

Trivia
- The more penguins in the Base Camp, the bigger the fire is.
- This room is possibly one of the most realistic rooms in the Mountain Expedition as there is falling snow and the sound of howling wind.
Remarks
- It is strange how there is a fishbowl up there, and the water isn't frozen.
