The Party Hat (also known as Beta Hat) is a collectible free item first available during Beta Testing. It is the first party hat and the first free item in Club Penguin, and also the first clothing item that wouldn't be taken away after beta testing.
Trivia
- If a penguin is wearing a party hat, it means that he/she has been playing Club Penguin since August~October 2005.
- Party hats are very rare.
- Some beta testers don't like to wear their hats because they don't like crowds.
- It is usually known as the "Beta Hat", though Party Hat is it's official name.
- Each year there is a different colour party hat.
