The Beta Testing Party was the first ever party in Club Penguin that happened on October 24th, 2005 for only a few hours. It offered Beta Testers penguins a Party Hat. Beta Testers also got 2000 Coins and a free 1 month membership when it ended.
History
The Beta Testing Party started on September 21, 2005 before Club Penguin officially launched. The Town was decorated with a simple banner saying, "BETA TEST PARTY!".
There were two boxes with Party Hats inside. Beta Testers could get the hat, which was one of the first ever items in Club Penguin.
Only Billybob, rsnail, Screenhog, Happy77 and Mace (Billybob's test account) are the only known beta tester moderators. They made appearances during the Party.
Many penguins think Gizmo is a beta tester, but he actually joined on December 2005.
Trivia
- This has been the only party so far with two free item boxes that hold the same item in the same room.
- This is also the only party to have a free item in the Town.
