DJ Cadence

The Dance-A-Thon was the official name of the Members-only Party that occurred from January 15 to January 20, 2009. Also, along with the party, Club Penguin launched the new game Dance Contest. The decorated rooms were the Night Club, the Dance Lounge, and the new Dance Club Rooftop. The Dance Club Rooftop was only accessible during this party, however it has come back in the Music Jam 2009. Also, like many other popular parties, it was extended until Tuesday January 20, 2009.

Trivia

• When this party started, many Non-Member penguins protested to get in the Night Club.
• When Dancing only with the Boombox, you are able to do a break dancing move.
• Cadence could be seen dancing on some servers at this party.
• Many penguins claim that when the metal pad on the Dance Club Rooftop was clear of any penguins, Cadence would come. But according to this, it's not true.
• The game that was released during the party is now available to Non-Members except for multiplayer mode which is only for members.
• In the Night Club, there was a sign that listed the Penguins who had just entered the room.
• It was the first party in 2009.
• There is a rumor that the orange lights from the Dance-A-Thon means there might be an orange puffle coming. Mainly due to the fact that it flashes almost all colors of puffles except purple.
• There is a rumor it may come back in 2010.
• Candence was also comfirmed as Dot's sister! It was said at the Dance-a-thon.
