Dance-A-Thon 2009

The Dance-A-Thon was the name of the Members-only Party that occurred from January 15 to January 20, 2009. Also, along with the party, Club Penguin launched the new game Dance Contest. The decorated rooms were the Night Club, the Dance Lounge, and the new Dance Club Rooftop. The Dance Club Rooftop was only accessible during this party, however it might make another appearence in a future party. Also, like many other Parties, it was extended until Tuesday January 20, 2009.

Trivia

• When this party started, many Non-Member penguins protested to get in the Night Club. See The Buzz (look for January 15) for more information.
• When Dancing only with the Boombox, you are able to do a break dancing move.
• Cadence could be seen dancing on some servers at this party.
• Many penguins claim that when the metal pad on the Dance Club Rooftop was clear of any penguins, Cadence would come. But according to this, this is not true.
• The game that was released during the party is now available to Non-Members except for multiplayer mode which is only for members.
• In the Night Club, there was a sign that listed the Penguins who had just entered the room.
• It was the first party of 2009.
