Filters

Filters are measures to keep people safe in Club Penguin. As is expected, swear words can not get through, though some can, depending on how it appears you use it (ie. if it is a part of another word. Most of the time, the ban will appear after entering inappropriate or rude words.

Trivia

• At one time, players could get banned for saying "ice cream", due to hacking by WPE Pro.
• Originally, there were no filters, leaving people to just have to report you, if you said something wrong. Filters were later added during an update.
• Some normal words are filtered, as players may use the in an inappropriate way.
• There was a glitch that filtered several normal words (despite the fact that they could not be used inappropriately).
• Famous Penguins controlled by the Club Penguin Team can bypass the filters, as well as use numerals.
