The Kite 1000 first appeared in Secret Mission #9.
It was used to locate your old Spy Phone (which was stolen by Herbert) via a tracking device tied to it. It was placed above the Ski Mountain, along with the other two tracking devices. Amazingly, you have to destroy the blueprints to make the contraption. Like all other prototypes, the name of this kite ends in "1000".

Trivia
- It is unknown if there will be a Kite 2000 and/or a Kite 3000.
- It looks very unstable.
- There is a hand item that looks like it.
- It has many differences, including the fact it has no agent gear on it.
