The Life Vest is an uncommon neck item in Club Penguin. It was one of the free items Rockhopper brought when he crashed into an iceberg in 2008. All penguins could have received this for free.
Surprisingly, it is not a body item. Instead, it is a neck item.
Glitch
There was a glitch causing this item to be a member item during the Wilderness Expedition. It has been fixed.
