The Beta Testing Party was the first ever party in Club Penguin that happened on October 24th, 2005 for only a few hours. It offered Beta Testers penguins a Party Hat. Beta Testers also got 2000 Coins and a free 1 month membership when it ended.
History
The Beta Testing Party was started on October 24th 2005 when Club Penguin officially started. The Town was decorated with a simple banner saying, "BETA TEST PARTY!". There were two boxes with Party Hats inside. Beta Testers could get the hat, which was the one of the first items in Club Penguin. Moderators like Billybob and rsnail were Beta Testers and made appearances during the Party. Beta Testers also got a free 1 month membership that was paid for by the Club Penguin Team, and they also got 2000 coins as well, which was considered a lot at the time, because of the lack of games and other activities that earned money.
Trivia
- This has been the only party so far with two free item boxes that hold the same item in the same room.
- This is also the only party to have a free item in the Town.
