The MP3000 is an invention Gary made specially for the Treasure Book. It is a fictional MP3 Player, more specifically thought to be based on an Apple iPod, though this is not a confirmed fact. It is impossible to say the actual name of the MP3000 in Club Penguin because numbers are blocked for safety reasons. Players can only obtain this item through the treasure book, as it never was available anywhere else on Club Penguin. Before the cheating program Penguin Ice was shut down, users of it could obtain the MP3000, although the device referred to it as the MP3. Although it is not a members only item, it requires a coin code to be bought.
Actions
- When players dance with it on music notes will float above you. Unlike with most items, players don't have to wear only the MP3000 to do this.
Trivia
- MP3000s are rare items, because of their exclusivity, rather than age.
- It is the first of Gary's inventions to appear as a non-member clothing item.
- MP3000's are the smallest and most popular invention produced by Gary, and was re-released on Treasure Book 5 on 19 October 2009.
- On Club Penguin, most people think of the MP3000 as an iPod, because numbers can't be typed. Also, the MP3000 does not look like an iPod because it does not have the click wheel.
- There is a Black MP3000 in the Treasure Book series 7.
