The Miners Helmet is a head item which could be found when Club Penguin suffers some problems or starts major construction. Currently, it can be found in the Mine Cave when clicking on the Jackhammers.

Trivia

• Similar items are the Hard Hat and Red Construction Hat.
• Before 2010, the last time it was given away was during the Dig Out The Dojo in November 2008.
• Along with the Friendship Bracelet, this is probably the least rare item, as you can get it whenever you want in the Cave Mine.
• It was a rare item for a long time until 2010, when it came out during the Cave Opening Party, making many new penguins excited. It returned again for the Popcorn Explosion, and then the Island Adventure Party 2010.
• It is the first permanent Free Item, found in the Cave Mine.
• It is very common as said above it is available any time at the cave. This made [[rarer] penguins upset.
