The Monkey King is the main character of the Stage play Secrets of the Bamboo Forest. He is a yellow-colored penguin-monkey that was wondering how to cross the river because he thinks that there is treasure on the other side.

Trivia
- He is based on Sun Wukong, a character from a famous Chinese novel, Journey to the West.
- In Mission 11, when you give Rory the new lens, he says, "Well, I'll be a Monkey King!" an obvious reference to this character.
