Numbered Buoys

The first numbered buoy.

The Numbered Buoys, or just Buoys are floating devices that can have many purposes. They can be anchored (stationary) or allowed to drift with the sea wave. However, in Club Penguin they have a different role. They are Easter Eggs, which means they were created to entertain penguins, who have to seek for them hidden all over the game. They can be found in some rooms, games, parties, newspaper issues, PSA Missions and even when your puffles first dig up an item.

Ten numbered buoys have been spotted, but only eight can currently be found on the island.

Buoy 1: Jet Pack Adventure - Level 3 Buoy 2: Aqua Grabber - Clam Waters Buoy 3: Jet Pack Adventure - Level 3 Buoy 4: Can't be found nowadays (used to be located in the PSA Mission:Secret of the Fur and later during the Star Wars Takeover in the Trash Compactor) Buoy 5: Jet Pack Adventure - Level 3 Buoy 6: Beach Buoy 7: Lighthouse Buoy 8: Lighthouse Buoy 9: Can't be found nowadays (appeared once in a Club Penguin Times issue) Buoy 10: Can't be found nowadays (used to be located in The Deep during the Underwater Expedition) Buoy 12: Can only be seen in the pop-up that only appears when your puffle first dig up an item/coins.

Trivia

• The buoys used to be nothing interesting, but in the #403 issue of the Club Penguin Times, they became the main topic in the Secrets section and in the #450 issue, Aunt Arctic showed curiosity about them acting as they were an important subject to investigate.
• The #403 issue of the Club Penguin Times says that there are ten numbered buoys, however, the 12th buoy have already showed up.
• As the 12th buoy have been found, the Buoy 11 might had appeared too.
• There are 99 buoys in total and all of them will be used to create the Buoy Bot as we could see during the Future Party.
• According to Aunt Arctic, the buoys do have a reason to be here. She says that: "Buoys are usually used to mark a path, so where could these ones be leading us?" So there may be more about these buoys, than meets the eye.
• What if the buoys were put there by Rockhopper and it will lead us to the legendary Rockhopper Island?
