Paint By Letters
Archived This article is about something that was for a period of time, or is no longer, in Club Penguin. |

Paint by Letters (also known as PBL) was a game/book series found in the Book Room's Library. The game is about typing. In the three currently stories, you have to type the whole story on your keyboard. Sometimes, you have to make a decision, which can change all the story course. You get bonus coins if you find all the hidden coins in the books. The series was introduced on March 10, 2008. There are three books in the series:
The base amount of coins you get in My Puffle is 50 (max 250). The base amount of coins you get in Burnt Out Bulbs is 220 coins (max 800). The Lime Green Dojo Clean score is 160 (max 800). If you find all the bonus coins in that book, you will receive the max amount of coins you can get in that book. But, if you make different decisions for the story on the book you use, it will be difficult to find the bonus coins, because if you change the story course, there will be different sets, so the coins will be in different spots. Luckily, when you're using the Paint by Letters books, you don't have to type the capitals and the punctuation, you just have to type the letters. That makes it easier to earn large amounts of coins. The game was removed on June 16th 2012 due to unpopularity and lack of playing.
Trivia
- Oddly, the Paint by Letters books were the only thing in Club Penguin that were exclusive to English. Those books were missing in the other languages (Portuguese, French, Spanish and German) libraries.
- By collecting the secret coin on every page, you get extra coins when you complete the book. For example, if you play Lime Green Dojo Clean if you finish the book and collect all the secret coins, you receive 800 coins in total.
- The .swf files show dark black penguins on the cover.
- This is the first non-party exclusive game to be removed.
