In the past, Club Penguin hasn't hired composers to create music for the game, instead it bought music from various distributers (Both licensed and royalty-free). This page lists the original sources for the various tracks Club Penguin has used.
Listing of Tracks and Their Sources
Since most dealers offer multiple mixes of each track offered the songs linked to often don't sound exactly alike.
Games:
- Hydro Hopper: The music for this game comes from Smartsound's "Vintage Comedy" album, the track name is "Yessir" the exact mix of this track used isn't known. This track is used in many for-kids programs on radio and television.
Rooms:
- Pizza Parlor: The track for the pizza parlor can be found on Smartsound's Uplifting Ideas album under the name "Charlie's here".
Party Specific:
Misc:
- Penguin Chat 3: Penguin Chat 3 seems to have only contained 3 songs, oddly enough none of which were royalty-free. "BananaPhone" came from Raffi's album of the same name. While as the tracks "I've been delayed" and "I'm at 9933" were from Tas 100's Message for Martha album.
Trivia
- Though a comprehensive list of which dealers Club Penguin buys from isn't available all current information suggests Smartsound as their primary source of music.
