The School is a room in Club Penguin. It opened in July 11, 2013, making it the newest permanently-opened room in Club Penguin. It was revealed at Club Penguin Media Summit. It is accessible via the Mine Shack, replacing the Recycling Plant.

History

Development

The School appeared in the first time at the Club Penguin Media Summit as a draft. This event was on April 11th and 12th but only on July 4 Polo Field posted about the University. On July 9, the music of the room and a little sneak peek were posted on the Club Penguin's SoundCloud page. Rookie visited the island for a few days to celebrate the opening.

In-game

Like in the case of the Ninja Hideout, the Recycling Plant was replaced by the newly-opened room. It is divided in two parts: The left-sided part is the classroom where biology and chemistry can be studied. In this part of the room, throwing a snowball will result in a crumpled sheet of paper being thrown instead. The right-sided part is a cafeteria and has a door that leads back to the Mine Shack. Throwing a snowball here will result in a slice of pizza being thrown. The room also includes a door that leads to the Stadium.
