One of the secret items in June 2008.

A Secret Item refers to a hidden item for purchase in a catalog. They are usually found by clicking one or more items or letters in the on a page in a catalog and often stay available in whatever catalog they are hidden in for three months. The only items that are always hidden in a catalog is the Red Viking Helmet and Blue Viking Helmet, which are hidden in the Penguin Style catalog. Back in 2006 and 2007, after a month had passed, the hidden item becomes unhidden on the next catalog.

Viking helmets are secret items in Penguin Style forever (except the pink one). It is also the easiest secret item to find. Secret Viking Helmets are divided into four types: red, blue, gold and pink.

How to get a Red Viking Helmet

• Look for the hiding area of the Viking Helmet. You will then find a red viking helmet.
• According Club Penguin Times 186, it was the first hidden item in the first Penguin Style by clicking "Hats"

How to get a Blue Viking Helmet

• Look for the hiding area of the Viking helmet above. After opening the secret catalog, close it again. Repeat this step for 3 more times (totally 4 times). You will then find a blue viking helmet.

How to get the Gold Viking Helmet

• It was only available in February 2007, March 2007 and October 2008 Penguin Style and Viking Opera (May 2009) Costume Trunk.
• Press all the stars on the Star Necklace. After the Red Viking Helmet appears, do the steps of finding the Blue Viking Helmet. Then press the Tiara on the other page and you will discover the Gold Viking Helmet. (February & March 2007 Penguin Style)
• Click on the jack-o-lantern. After the Red Viking Helmet appears, do the same as before, then when the Blue Viking Helmet comes up, click on the yellow puffle, the Gold Viking Helmet will appear. (October 2008 Penguin Style)
  • Press on the helmet on the "G", then do the trick to get the Blue Viking Helmet. When you see Blue Viking Helmet, click on Helga's helmet, not the "buy tag" on the helmet. (Viking Opera [May 2009] Costume Trunk)

How to get the Pink Viking Helmet

• The pink viking helmet was only available once as an item in the Pirate Catalog, located in the Migrator.

Trivia

• Unlike the red and blue viking helmets, the gold viking helmet almost appears twice a year or once, depending on the events.

How to find a secret item yourself

• Move your cursor over any pictures (pictures showing a penguin wearing any clothing or only the clothing). If there is any secret items, the arrow (your cursor) will become a hand, just like moving your cursor on the hyperlink.
