Territory is land claimed or won by either teams Red, Blue, Green or Yellow, and while the Island Adventure Party was around either the Seamen or Pirates. The claiming of servers (non-cannon) is quite common in Club Penguin War. The claiming of areas around the island (cannon) can be seen in the new Wii game called Club Penguin Game Day.
