The Great Snow Race is a party in Club Penguin. It was confirmed in the July 2011 Parent Update. Construction started on August 18th, 2011 and the party itself started on August 25, 2011. It will end on August 31, 2011. On August 18, 2011, Happy77 released a video showing sneak peeks of the party.

The party took place on the Toughest Mountain, as Herbert had been hiding out there. The EPF invaded his hideout, and put Herbert into hibernation.

Free Items

Several free items such as the Alpine Helmet (located at the Mountain Top) and the Infrared Tracker (located at the Ice Cave for EPF only) are available at this party. Some pins such as the Expedition Key pin (at the Laser Maze) and the AC 3000 Pin (at the Classified Area) are found.

Glitches

• During the event, there a glitch where some Mini Games are unresponsively to the keyboard control. It includes of Field-Op Mini-games too. On In-Game location, the keyboard work as normal. This was believed to happen only to the user of Google Chrome Browser as the other browser works as usual.
• If you stand on the number "4" on the Ski Village, you will go to the Dock.
