The Tour Guide Hat is available in the Ski Village and you can give the Welcome Postcard to penguins in Club Penguin. Once you are 45 days old, you can take a test to become a Tour Guide. Once you pass the test, you will receive the Tour Guide Hat.
How to Give Tours
Note: this is merely a restatement of the guide in the Tour booth at the Ski Village. While wearing the hat, click the Ultimate Safe Chat button on the Toolbar. Select "Activities," then "Give a Tour." You will then describe the room with a preset message. Please note that this only works if you are wearing a tour guide hat. Optional: Wear nothing but the hat and wave to advertise your services with a "TOURS HERE" sign.
Trivia
- There was once a glitch in which you went into another player's igloo and tried to give a tour, it would say "undefined." This glitch has since been fixed.
- Many penguins only want to be a tour guide for the hat. This was also shown in a comic.
- There was another glitch in which you could wear the Tour Guide hat in your inventory, but not on your Penguin. this allowed players to hold the sign without the hat on. This has since been fixed.
- It is not available during the Puffle Party 2010 because the tour guide booth was removed and since the Tour Boothis gonna return, it was available back.
