Welcome to Club Penguin Wiki, Lm34gt45!

Hi there! Welcome to the Club Penguin Wiki, the free online encyclopedia all about Club Penguin! We hope you enjoy your stay here.

To get you started on the wiki, here are some basic things we'd thought you'd like to know:

  • Edit - To edit an article, simply click the 'edit' button at the top of the page. Editing is the act of changing a page. Your knowledge is the main reason why we are a large website. Articles are our most important pages that are informative and have information on different things on Club Penguin.
  • User page - All users have their very own user page, or "profile". Your user page is your very own page, where you can describe yourself. Feel free to fill out your user page with information about yourself, and anything else you would like to say.
  • User talk - Every user in this wiki has a talk page, which enables you to communicate with other users, even if they're not online. They can send messages to you, while you can too through the talk page. You can add your signature by typing 4 tildes (~~~~). You can also click the button on the edit bar to do the same thing.
  • IRC (Chat) - The wiki has an IRC Channel, which can used to chat with other users in the wiki. You can meet your friends there, make new friends and ask for help if needed. The admins are usually active in IRC, it can be an easy way to get help from them. Click here to join our IRC chat.
  • The Berg - The Berg is the Club Penguin Wiki's official newspaper. Check it monthly for as there may be an event you might want to take part in or the site admins may have important information for you.
  • Others - There is much more to the wiki than just editing articles! You can write a party review, host your own party or even upload a funny picture! See the full list of things you can do here!

You can also modify some of your account settings such as your signature in your preferences. If you want to learn how to make a cool signature, click here!

Please, do take the time to read the wiki's policies and manual of style to avoid any future problems and blocks.

If you have any questions, an administrator will always be glad to help you. Thanks, and have a great time! -- Club Penguin Wiki Administration

I rule!!!This is LM&GT

Re:I'm point hungry!!! :P

I will answer "for" Hat Pop. I may not be right, so HP, keep an eye on this.

Reason 1. You only get points for your mainspace edits (e.g. System Defender or Beach)

Reason 2. For some reason, your edits on wikia were not added to your point total. I do not know why this is, because it seems that other users, such as LM96 or Nickelbackfan37 had their edits from wikia counted.

Awesome335

Possibly because of the broken editcount. I think it is possible to have your old wiki edits put into there, but you will have to ask Andrew to find out. --LordMaster96<staff /> 15:15, 2 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

RE: Haven't you noticed the <poll> tag?

Yes, I have noticed. We have tried installing it a few months ago, but it wasn't successful. --LordMaster96<staff /> 15:32, 2 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Re:What are the numbers for?

I shall answer "for" LM96. These represent the bytes, which are the unit of page length measurement added to the page or removed from the page when the edit takes place.

Awesome335

RE:What are the numbers for?

Hard to remember, but I think it's for page size. +30 would mean that you've added 30 bytes to the page and -30 means you've removed 30 bytes from the page. If it's not page size, then it's definitely the number of characters on the page. --LordMaster96<staff /> 00:07, 3 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

oh wait

I have a new reply on my talk. --andrew<staff />pink for no reason at all. ;) 00:42, 3 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

RE:user avatar and points not coming

That's because the social profile (avatar, points, user profile, etc.) have been removed. --LordMaster96<staff /> 23:34, 3 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

(Welcome words test)

Hello <<Penguin Name>>!!! I welcome you to this wiki! We have many great things to do in the wiki. You can start by:

  • Workin' on your userpage
  • Helping out with articles
  • Voting for articles and penguins of the month on the Main Page!!!
  • And a lot more (you explore)!!!

Hope you have fun!!!

Stubs

Why were you getting so angry when removing the stubs? It's annoying, but I don't think it's that annoying.

-Cooldude254 Happy Valentines!

Sorry if it troubled you, but it was for a little bit of humor. You decide if you want me to tell those comments. --I rule!!!This is LMGT 18:26, 11 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

RE: I don't remember the title lol

It's fine, I actually laughed at them :) I just wondered if you were mad and wanted me to help, so I removed some stubs for you. Keep doing them, there pretty funny :)

    • BTW: I was saying the random Stubs when Articles are clearly finished were annoying, not you.

Stub Removing

I see that you are removing stubs. However, majority of the articles that you removed the stub template can still be improve/expanded. Such areas are history, trivia, and appearances. I'm glad you are trying but only remove the template if they are long enough. --ClubPenguinMaster! Chinese New Year! 恭喜發財! 02:26, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

RE:

"Remove stub from articles that cannot be expanded, even if they are short, as there is no information left to make them bigger. Do not remove stub from any articles that have a potential for a history section. Any insignificant items that have had no real rise or fall in popularity or use have no potential for a history section and therefore cannot be expanded with information. This should make a lot of short articles that are at their maximum non-stubs and should lighten up the stub category." This is taken from our to-do list. I understand your point of view but I want to only remove stubs only if they cannot be expanded. --ClubPenguinMaster! Chinese New Year! 恭喜發財! 02:37, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Maybe a little too much

Some things added to articles such as the Green Snorkel (Water and Stadium was added) was a little too much. I understand that water is where it's mainly used in, but it's not the right combination. Stadium doesn't really have anything to do with this item, even though the Snow and Sports catalog is there. Something that would be useful would be linking to related items, like Blue Snorkel, Pink Snorkel, etc. Feel free to contact me if you have additional questions (I'll respond tomorrow morning if there are any - it's 11:11 PM for me right now). --LordMaster96<staff /> 07:11, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

RE:re:Maybe a little too much

What we actually wanted to do to expand stub articles was to add a history or appearance section to it. As you can see, the See also section just links to other articles, and doesn't really give information to readers. Hope this helps. --LordMaster96<staff /> 17:57, 12 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Happy Valentines!

Cooldude254 Happy Valentines!

Me neither

Nah, I don't like valentine's day either, but I wanted to give my signature a new look, rather then just "Black" so yeah.

Cooldude254 Happy Valentines!

Meet me on CP

Hey there. You like cars too. Cool!

RE:Troisieme post!!!

Bonjour mon ami. For your information, Social Profile has been removed from this wiki. If you like to see the number of edits you have, you can do so here, if you didn't know. --LordMaster96<staff /> 04:16, 16 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

RE:

Yes. It's files uploaded or edited. "File:" is a namespace, like "User:", "User talk:", "MediaWiki:", "Club Penguin Wiki:", "Template:", etc. --LordMaster96<staff /> 04:38, 16 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

RE:

Add ?action=purge to the end of the URL and see if it works. If not, clear your cache. --LordMaster96<staff /> 06:40, 16 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

RE:New page

Evidently it does not exist, seeing as User :Cp kid just created the page.

Have a Nice day.

Category:Glutton Users

Hi there! I made a page called that I included your userpage in. Could you please contact an admin to help make that a category at the bottom of your user page[example: male template= Category:Male_Users.] Thank you. 76.111.54.150 02:23, 20 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Pointless edits

I've been checking some of your edits and I found some that are what the admins would call "pointless". Edits like this do not contribute, as all you're doing is removing unnecessary lines. I think there was a user in the past that got multiple warnings for these types of edits, and I do not want you to get a warning for something like this, so if you could, either change something up while at it, or just simply stop removing extra lines. Thanks. --LordMaster96<staff /> 06:15, 20 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
