Welcome to Club Penguin Wiki, Titanium Ninja!

Hi there! Welcome to the Club Penguin Wiki, the free online encyclopedia all about Club Penguin! We hope you enjoy your stay here.

To get you started on the wiki, here are some basic things we'd thought you'd like to know:

  • Edit - To edit an article, simply click the 'edit' button at the top of the page. Editing is the act of changing a page. Your knowledge is the main reason why we are a large website. Articles are our most important pages that are informative and have information on different things on Club Penguin.
  • User page - All users have their very own user page, or "profile". Your user page is your very own page, where you can describe yourself. Feel free to fill out your user page with information about yourself, and anything else you would like to say.
  • User talk - Every user in this wiki has a talk page, which enables you to communicate with other users, even if they're not online. They can send messages to you, while you can too through the talk page. You can add your signature by typing 4 tildes (~~~~). You can also click the button on the edit bar to do the same thing.
  • IRC (Chat) - The wiki has an IRC Channel, which can used to chat with other users in the wiki. You can meet your friends there, make new friends and ask for help if needed. The admins are usually active in IRC, it can be an easy way to get help from them. Click here to join our IRC chat.
  • The Berg - The Berg is the Club Penguin Wiki's official newspaper. Check it monthly for as there may be an event you might want to take part in or the site admins may have important information for you.
  • Others - There is much more to the wiki than just editing articles! You can write a party review, host your own party or even upload a funny picture! See the full list of things you can do here!

You can also modify some of your account settings such as your signature in your preferences. If you want to learn how to make a cool signature, click here!

Please, do take the time to read the wiki's policies and manual of style to avoid any future problems and blocks.

If you have any questions, an administrator will always be glad to help you. Thanks, and have a great time! -- Club Penguin Wiki Administration

Friendly reminder

Hey Titanium! I saw your uploaded image of the Jigsaw Background on a player card, and I wanted to let you know, we prefer that all images like that have a (standard) black penguin, just for uniformity between all of the articles. Other colors are acceptable if black isn't possible (e.g. you took the picture of another penguin who was wearing it), but black is preferred. Also (just in case you didn't know), for images like that, we also try to have the specified item as the only item being worn by the penguin, so the image can focus on it rather than other items the penguin might be wearing. In this instance, yes. That's all you'd have to change. I just said the other stuff for future reference. CK 04:41, 3 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Rollback

I noticed you have made some (but not many) vandalism undos in the past and as a result I have given you a one month rollback trial. After the trial ends the admins will re-evaluate your rollback status and make a final decision on whether or not you will keep the tool. Below are some factors that we will be looking at:

  • IRC activity level - it is important to be on IRC whenever vandalism occurs as CPWRC detects most vandalism.
  • Editing frequency - not as important, but it is nice to know our rollbacks are part of the community.
  • Vandalism undo frequency - we want you cleaning up vandalism if you're online. Don't worry about it if you happen to be offline whenever it happens - vandalism isn't really predictable.
  • Proper use of the right - a lot of users have misused the rollback tool in the past. The key is to know the difference between rollback and undo. Never replace the undo button with the rollback button. Rollback should only be used when there is vandalism. If a user has made an edit that you do not like but it is in good faith - use the undo button instead.

If you have questions regarding the rollback right please do not hesitate to message your fellow rollbacks or the admins. --LordMaster96 02:10, 1 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Signature

Hi, your signature currently does not comply with all of the guidelines on the signature policy - it must contain your username. Please fix it ASAP to avoid having it reset to the default signature. Thanks. --LordMaster96 05:34, 9 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Done. How is it now? Titanium Ninja 00:28, 11 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
